Poptropica – a virtual world for kids

,

Poptropica is a virtual world for kids to travel, play games, compete in head-to-head competition, and communicate safely. It features several different adventures in the form of “islands” that players can explore. Each island has a different storyline and theme and specific objectives.

In November 2010 the Daily Pop, a new section developed by DDM Studio, was released. With Daily Pop there appeared something new to enjoy on Poptropica every day: read comics, play games, and see sneak peeks of upcoming Islands that kids can only find in the Daily Pop. There are still many added improvements that DDM Studio has developed for Poptropica to be released in 2011.

Currently Poptropica has over 75 million registered users.

Camel Graffiti Game

Camel is the original American blend cigarette, dating back to 1913. In that year R.J. Reynolds developed an innovation: the packaged cigarette. Most tobacco users who smoked cigarettes preferred to roll their own, and there was thought to be no national market for pre-packaged cigarettes. Reynolds worked to develop a flavor he thought would be more appealing than past products, creating the Camel cigarette, so named because it used Turkish paper, in imitation of then-fashionable Egyptian cigarettes.

Now Camel is a part of cigarette brand portfolio of Japan Tobacco Inc.

For the HoReCa promotion of Camel brand in Georgia DDM Studio has created design and technically developed the casual game which involved the players into the world of Camel values and at the same time engaged them into interesting and rewarding activity. Players should have found the hidden camel on the graffiti picture and in case of successful game finishing the player was rewarded by the gift.

Beside design and flash development, DDM Studio has also created the functionality which enabled reporting of promoters’ work through every day in the course of campaign.

ebuilders: Christmas Card 2010

,

The ebuilders Christmas card for the New Year 2010 was developed as an interactive game, modelled after the international TV-Hit 2009 “Hole in the Wall”.

The title of ebuilders Christmas game was “Doll in the wall”. By playing this game ebuilders invited their Clients and friends to score points which ebuilders would then convert into donation to support the work of Neurosurgeons Dr. Henry Marsh and Dr. Igor Kurilets in Ukraine.

DDM Studio provided creative design and technical implementation of the flash game.

Sesame Street Legacy Games

The Client wanted the games that were developed on C++ and not intended to be played online to be converted into Flash. Our programmers converted a set of games using Flex (Action Script 3) for Flash version 9.
Bright, eye-catching and funny these game are created especially for children. While playing children learn to read, write and count, they get to know how to lead a healthy life and lots of other useful hints.
