The Last Bake

The smell of freshly baked bread filled the air, and I knew it was the last time I would ever experience it. My grandmother was 89 when I took these photos and she told me, confidently, that this would be her last bake. For anyone who has never baked bread before, it's hard work. It takes time, patience, energy and most of all...love. I had always wanted to photograph my grandmother baking bread in the wood oven at home. Seeing her bake bread through the lense, was like seeing it through new eyes; every movement, every step crucial to creating the perfect loaf. I took dozens of photos that day, capturing her every move. Now when I look at the photos, I can smell the fresh bread baking, and feel the heat of the oven against my skin. I can see the love and care of each loaf and most of all, my grandmother.

Colours and moments of an English Summer

“Colors and Moments of an English Summer” is a visual journey through the serene beauty of Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, captured with a delicate touch of pastel tones. This collection paints a vivid picture of an English summer, emphasizing the vast beach and the joyful moments of its visitors.

Unlike the lively Italian summers, this project showcases a cooler English climate and the heartwarming presence of dogs on the beach. The striking tides of England, in contrast to the Mediterranean's calm waters, are a central theme.

These photographs invite you to immerse yourself in the tranquil charm of an English seaside escape. Each image preserves the essence of pastel skies, endless shores, and the simple yet profound moments that define this unique experience.

Voices for Peace: Protest against the war in Ukraine - Milan, Italy.

As a photographer, I felt a deep calling to stand against the war in Ukraine. Milan's streets provided the backdrop for my mission during the protest, and in the middle of the crowd, one photograph resonated with me like no other—a lady, holding a sign that bore a simple yet profoundly powerful message: 'My passport is Russian, but I stand with Ukraine.'

This image isn't just a photo; it's a testament to the unwavering human spirit, the kind that transcends borders in pursuit of peace. In her eyes, I glimpsed the unspoken stories of many and the universal yearning for a world unburdened by conflict. Through my lens, I sought to amplify her voice and capture the profound impact of a fleeting moment. In that fraction of time, I bore witness to the profound potency of visual storytelling—a photograph that becomes a conduit for change and an enduring symbol of hope.
